Help with weaning (cross-posted)

I am desperate for some advice. I am a teacher, so I work full-time during the week. We have slowly been weaning from breastfeeding, and had been down to one morning feed and one afternoon "feed" with not much milk. Well, last week I was on spring break so I was home with DD all week. As the week progressed, she wanted to "nurse" (basically just suck since there hasn't been much of a milk production) more and more, as often as every 15 minutes! I thought going back to work would cut down on the new "habit" but it is just as bad when I get home. She lifts my shirt, cries and gets frustrated. I really want to stop this, since she isn't getting milk and it has basically turned me into a human pacifier. I try to distract her, give her a sippy, etc. but it doesn't work. Should I just give in and satisfy her need to "suck" and be close to mommy or should I try to break her of this habit, and how do I?  I am not sure if it is just a phase or if it will continue like this for a long time. TIA for any words of wisdom.
